Sublime Mica is a specialized sheet muscovite mica processing company located in Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA with a rich experience of more than 80 years. The Gudur mica belt is home to proven reserves of quality sheet muscovite mica. Sublime manufactures a wide range of high performance mica fillers for application in paint and coatings, plastics, cosmetics, rubber mold release, foundry coatings, brake linings, adhesives and sealants. We specialize in water ground mica powder. The wet ground mica powder facility was set up in 1979 with technology from L. H. Torkildsen AS, Bergen, Norway. The facility is certified ISO 9001:2008. Our products are supplied to customers in Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, UAE, USA, UK and Vietnam.
Wet ground mica - The high performance filler
Our premium product - High purity, High aspect ratio : Water ground mica. Wet ground mica powder is produced by grinding high grade mica ore in lined mills by a slow frictional process using water as a lubricant. In this process the platy structure of the mica is preserved, resulting in a mica with a high diameter to thickness ratio. The product is available in a wide range of particle sizes. Wet ground mica powder finds application in coatings, paint, plastics, cosmetics, rubber mold release, adhesives, sealants and foundry coatings.
